What We Provide

Every component below is supplied, installed, licensed, monitored, maintained and replaced by Optimus Secure — at no capital cost to you.

Perimeter Security

Next-Gen Firewall / UTM sized to your user count, with IPS, gateway anti-virus, web and application filtering, SSL-VPN, and an optional high-availability pair with dual-ISP failover.

Core & Distribution

Layer-3 managed core switch, stackable or redundant, with a 10G fiber backbone between floors and buildings, VLAN segmentation, inter-VLAN routing, QoS, rack, patch panels and an online UPS.

Access Layer & Cabling

PoE+ access switches feeding gigabit to every desk, plus complete CAT6 / CAT6A structured cabling, face plates, patch cords, labelling and as-built documentation — all inside the rental.

Wi-Fi Across Every Area

Wi-Fi 6 / 6E access points placed from a predictive RF survey and validated by walk test, with seamless roaming across floors and separate SSIDs for staff, guests, IoT and CCTV.

Management & Support

24×7×365 NOC monitoring, QR-code ticketing on every device and zone, remote and on-site engineering, firmware patching, config backup, licence renewals and spare units on standby.

Reporting & Governance

A written monthly pack — uptime against SLA, bandwidth trends, Wi-Fi experience, security threat summary, full ticket log and capacity recommendations — plus a monthly review call.

Optimus 24×7 NOC

  • Live device and link health monitoring
  • Proactive alerts before your users notice
  • Config backup, patching and licence control
  • Monthly uptime and security reporting

QR Support Layer

  • QR tag on every switch, access point, rack and zone
  • Scan raises a ticket with the location already filled in
  • An expert calls back within SLA — no app, no login
  • Engineer dispatched to site if a physical fault is found

Built and Owned by Us

  • Hardware, licences and warranties stay on our books
  • Obsolescence and failure risk is ours, not yours
  • Scale up any time — the rental adjusts, nothing else

Coverage in Every Zone

We do not cover “most of the office”. We survey, design and certify coverage for every area you actually operate in.

Reception & lobby
Open workstations
Cabins & leadership rooms
Meeting & board rooms
Training & conference halls
Cafeteria & break-out areas
Server & UPS room
Warehouse & stores
Basement & parking
Terrace & open yard
Lift lobbies & corridors
Guest & visitor zones

Coverage is planned from a predictive RF survey, validated with a physical signal and throughput walk test after installation, and handed to you as a heat-map report. Any weak-coverage area you report in the first 90 days is corrected with additional access points at our cost.

Help Is One Scan Away

No app to install. No portal login. No phone menu. Any user, any phone, any zone — a ticket in under ten seconds.

1
Scan

The user scans the QR sticker on the switch, access point, rack or zone signage with any phone camera.

2
Auto-identify

Location, floor, zone, device ID and asset tag are captured automatically — nothing to type.

3
Describe

Two taps to pick the issue category, with an optional photo or voice note for context.

4
Ticket raised

A unique ticket ID is generated instantly, with confirmation on WhatsApp, SMS and email.

5
Expert calls back

An Optimus engineer calls the user within the SLA window and diagnoses live from the NOC.

6
Remote fix

Most issues are resolved remotely — config, port, policy, RF and licence problems never need a visit.

7
Site visit

If it is a physical or hardware fault, a field engineer is dispatched with a replacement unit.

8
Closure & RCA

The ticket closes only after the user confirms. Root-cause analysis is included in the monthly report.

QR codes are placed on the firewall and core rack, every access switch, every access point, each floor entrance, reception, meeting rooms, the cafeteria, the warehouse and optionally on each user's desk.

Support & SLA Commitment

Written response and resolution targets — measured monthly, reported transparently, and backed by a service-credit clause.

Priority Typical scenario Response Remote resolution On-site if required
P1 — Critical Complete internet or network outage, firewall down, core switch failure 15 minutes 60 minutes Within 4 hours
P2 — High A floor or VLAN down, multiple access points offline, severe slowness 30 minutes 4 hours Next business day
P3 — Medium Single access point, port or user affected; printer, VoIP or Wi-Fi issue 2 hours 8 hours Within 48 hours
P4 — Low Moves, adds and changes, new user onboarding, policy or report requests 8 hours 24 hours Scheduled visit

Uptime is committed on the managed LAN and WLAN and excludes ISP link failures, mains power failures and force-majeure events. Escalation runs L1 → L2 → L3 with a named account manager. Exact uptime percentage and service credits are written into your agreement.

Owning It vs Renting It

The same network, delivered two very different ways.

If you buy and run it yourself

  • A large capital outflow for firewall, switches, access points and cabling before a single user connects.
  • A network engineer to recruit, train, retain and replace — who leaves with all the undocumented knowledge.
  • Annual AMC renewals, licence renewals and an obsolescence bill again in five to seven years.
  • Separate vendors for firewall, switching, cabling and ISP — and a blame game whenever something breaks.
  • No monitoring, no uptime data and no threat logs. Problems are discovered by users, not by IT.
  • No defined SLA, no penalty and no escalation path when an outage costs you a working day.

If you rent it from Optimus Secure

  • No capital investment at all. Your money stays in the business instead of a network rack.
  • No hiring. Our certified engineers design, install, monitor and support the whole estate.
  • Refresh and upgrades are our obligation, so you never run end-of-life hardware.
  • One contract, one SLA and one accountable partner for active, passive and support.
  • 24×7 monitoring and a written monthly report, so you always know how the network performed.
  • One predictable monthly invoice, fully deductible as an operating expense.

We will put a like-for-like cost comparison for your specific site — capital purchase against monthly rental over the contract term — in your proposal after the free site survey.

Two Ways to Pay

Choose a rate per user per month, or one flat monthly rental for the whole site. Both include all hardware, cabling, licences, monitoring and support.

Add-ons available on both models: additional access points and switches, a firewall HA unit, extra cabling points, guest Wi-Fi with SMS OTP, a resident on-site engineer and CCTV / NVR integration. Contract tenures of 12, 36 and 60 months are available, with no price escalation for the locked term. All rentals are exclusive of GST.

What the Rental Does and Does Not Cover

Included in the monthly rental

  • All active hardware — firewall, core, access switches, access points, controller
  • All passive work — CAT6 / CAT6A cabling, racks, patch panels, I/O, fiber
  • All software licences, subscriptions, renewals and firmware upgrades
  • Design, installation, configuration, testing and documentation
  • 24×7 NOC monitoring, QR ticketing, remote and on-site support
  • Free replacement of any failed unit from our spares pool
  • Monthly reporting, review calls and periodic security hardening

Not included, billed separately

  • ISP internet bandwidth and leased-line charges — at actuals, and we can manage them for you
  • Electrical work, raw power points, earthing and dedicated UPS circuits
  • Civil work — core cutting, false ceiling, conduiting through masonry
  • End-user devices — laptops, desktops, printers, IP phones, cameras
  • Servers, storage and software licences such as Windows, AD and Microsoft 365
  • Damage from fire, flood, theft, vandalism, sabotage or power surge
  • Relocation of the site or a major re-layout of the premises

All active and passive equipment remains the property of Optimus Secure for the duration of the contract, with a buy-out option at written-down value at the end of the term. You can add users, access points, switches or floors at any time — the rental is adjusted from the next billing cycle, with no re-investment on your side.
